Bộ phim truyền hình tâm lý - tình cảm Trái tim lỡ nhịp (tác giả: Vinh Trân, đạo diễn: Lê Văn Thảo), đưa người xem đến với một đề tài khá thú vị, đó là thế giới khác về những bệnh nhân tâm thần nửa tỉnh nửa mê, hoàn toàn tách biệt với cuộc sống bên ngoài.
Tuy nhiên, bên trong bức tường của bệnh viện tâm thần đó lại là cuộc chiến khá khốc liệt giữa một bên là y đức, một bên là danh lợi và đồng tiền. Trong đó, vị bác sĩ tài năng Minh Đức (vai diễn của Bình Minh) đã bị những yếu tố khách quan tác động dẫn đến biến chất, cho đến khi có được tình yêu trong sáng của Tố Loan (vai diễn Jenny Hải Yến) “chỉ đường dẫn lối”.

Ngoài Bình Minh, phim có sự tham gia của diễn viên: Lê Kiều Như, Hải Yến, Hữu Luân, Lâm Minh Thắng, Phương Bình, Diễm Trinh....
