Có năng khiếu và niềm đam mê cháy bỏng với diễn xuất nhưng Minh Hiền, một cô gái 19 tuổi, trong sáng, lém lỉnh và không kém phần mạnh mẽ vẫn chưa thể biến ước mơ trở thành diễn viên của mình thành hiện thực bởi bẩm sinh cô có một vết bớt khá lớn ở cổ. Để có thể biến ước mơ của mình thành hiện thực, Minh Hiền đã không ngại gian khổ, một lúc làm hai ba công việc, từ phục vụ ở nhà hàng đến buôn bán ở chợ đêm nhằm dành dụm tiền giải phẫu vết bớt. Nhưng khi cô gần đạt đến mục tiêu của mình thì anh chàng “oan gia” Nguyên Thuận đã xuất hiện làm đảo lộn mọi thứ.

Sau một tuần ra mắt với phản hồi tích cực của khán giả, Đánh thức ước mơ đang được kỳ vọng sẽ làm nên một cơn sốt phim thần tượng "made in Việt Nam" mới với dàn diễn viên có nhiều sao teen như Huỳnh Anh, Tường Vy, Baggio và "vua hát nhép" Don Nguyễn.

Trong clip mới tiết lộ, khán giả không chỉ được "ngó qua" một số tình tiết của phim mà còn được kiểm chứng khả năng ca hát của Huỳnh Anh qua ca khúc nhạc nền có tên Ngỡ. Ca khúc này, Huỳnh Anh song ca cùng ca sĩ Quang Hà.

Ngoài Ngỡ, Huỳnh Anh còn thể hiện một ca khúc nhạc phim khác trong Đánh thức giấc mơ là Phút đầu tiên cùng Khởi Mi.
